JOB SUMMARY

The production associate is responsible for assisting Producer with pre-production, production and post production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Communicates with information sources and producers to prepare reports for production.
Prepares and delivers reports for production.
Work with Producer and talent to execute a nice production.
Oversees in-studio production and screening of listener/viewer calls.
Assists Producer with production assignments.
Performs audio/video editing and pre/post production work as needed.
Guest booking and interview prep as assigned by producer.
Typing, editing, copying and distributing scripts;
Organizing travel arrangements for cast, crew and production executives
Organizing accommodation for cast and crew
Typing and distributing schedules, or call sheets
Assisting cast members, and at times running errands for them;
Checking running orders and scripts
Keeping track of timings during the program;
Setting up per-recorded material in the studio gallery; making schedules, shot lists, logs and other paperwork for post-production.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent creative writing and communication skills.
Highly detail oriented with the ability to execute ideas.
Comfortable working with talent, and other high profile individuals.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and

work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must be motivated and a self-starter.
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Minimum 3 years of production experience.
