LGBT Life Center is seeking a Black queer man to appear in a short video challenging HIV stigma in our community. The video will be filmed in New York City (Ridgewood, Brooklyn) and shared through YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and community education events. LGBT Life Center is an LGBTQ+ and HIV services organization based in Norfolk, Virginia. Filming will take approximately one hour and will primarily include several B-roll shots and a recorded voiceover. You will not need to memorize a script beforehand. Professional acting experience is not required, but you should be comfortable on camera. This is an actor portrayal. You do not need to be living with HIV. FILMING DATES Monday, October 5 is strongly preferred. We may have limited flexibility through Tuesday evening, October 6. LOCATION New York City, Ridgewood, Brooklyn. The exact location and filming time will be shared with the selected participant. COMPENSATION $100 for approximately one hour of filming.
