I'm building an experimental film out of fragments of real lives in New York. Not interviews. Not performances. Just honest real moments in people's lives. I'm looking for people I can film inside the rhythm of what they do. While they move through life, work, create, drift. A taxi driver on a long shift. A dancer alone in rehearsal. Someone closing a restaurant late at night. A street performer between crowds. While you're in that space, we talk — about whatever comes up: loneliness, memories, things that stuck with you, things that didn't. Your environment tells the story. This project is about the quiet interior lives people carry through a very loud city. What I'm looking for: People with a real and interesting environment. I'm really just looking for something visual, something lived-in, something that says something without needing explanation. What it is: - 1–2 hours of filming - Minimal crew (just me usually) - Natural conversation, nothing forced No acting. No performance. Just presence. Reply with: Tell me what you do, when you do it, and anything about your life you feel like sharing. Why you feel you may be a fit! Excited to hear from people! Thank you.
