LET'S CREATE SOMETHING HILARIOUS FROM SCRATCH! We are developing a new series of comedy skits based on a character originally created for an award winning proof of concept short film. The film won 13 awards, and we realized this character has the potential to become something incredibly funny and entertaining on social media! I have plenty of acting experience and was a Co Lead on a show that was available on Hulu for two years. This is an opportunity for creative people to come together, have fun, develop their craft, and possibly build something great from the ground up. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ACTORS We are especially interested in actors who have a unique physicality, distinctive presence, expressive movement, or memorable character energy. This quality worked extremely well for the characters in our original short film, and we would love to continue incorporating it into these new skits. Actors of all experience levels are welcome to respond. Please send: • Your name • A recent headshot or photo • Any acting experience you have • A short introduction about yourself • Your general availability ALSO LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH CAMERA EQUIPMENT We currently do not have camera equipment, so we are also looking for someone who has a camera and microphone and would enjoy helping us record the skits. The equipment does not need to be expensive or extremely high quality. It simply needs to produce clear, workable video and audio for social media. COMPENSATION This is currently an unpaid creative collaboration. The goal is to have fun, strengthen our craft, create entertaining content, and see where the project can go on social media. Lets go viral! Who knows? This could be the beginning of something great! If this sounds exciting to you, send your information, headshot, experience, and if your an actor, or camera perso with camera equipment suitable for social medial.
