Expanding on this position a little bit: I'm an artist and designer working in a niche, high-demand medium that has very little representation on YouTube. I recently put some old lackluster videos of myself working on YT… and can see that if I started putting in genuine effort, the channel would most likely gain traction. I'm focused on YT here, but my initial tests have also shown potential on other platforms as well. My issue is that I'm busy with other parts of my career and online platforms are not a strong suit for me. I'm looking to bring on a creative collaborator and business partner who is well-versed in the tech realm and who can direct our efforts in an effective way. Required: -Must be local to Brooklyn/nyc (this is in-person work). -Must know YouTube and ideally have extensive marketing experience on all major platforms. -Must be comfortable behind the camera, beyond just setting it up on a tripod. (You don't need to be pro or have gone to film school, but please know how to intentionally operate a camera and be cultivating a personal style.) -Must know how to edit in an effective and efficient way. -Must be reliable, have honest work ethic, be able to execute tasks, etc., etc., (I'll expand and give references for what I'm envisioning if I think we're aligned.) Otherwise, I already have the camera and a mic, as well as film experience. I'm also part of a network of filmmakers who can help us if need be. This is a side project for me, but I know it will work so I want to make it happen. I'm interested in profit sharing, and we can discuss what that means. I'm very open to all possibilities and am committed to it feeling fair for both of us. Another side note: I haven't pursued this yet, but I use many different (mystifying for most people) tools in my practice, so there is a lot of potential for honest brand partnership. I'm also willing to expand my ideas for the channel to include what you might have in mind. I have a clear direction to start with, but I see this as a collaborative process and I'm open to experimentation. Send me your portfolio/resume and a short intro to apply. Please be patient with my response - I'm casting a wide net. This will be an anti-Ai , anti-ICE, pro-lgbt, pro-indigenous, pro-Palestine, pro-women endeavor that seeks to empower and give back.
