Expanding on this position a little bit: I'm an artist and designer working in a niche, high-demand medium that has very little representation on YouTube. I recently put some old lackluster videos of myself working on YT… and can see that if I started putting in genuine effort, the channel would most likely gain traction. I'm focused on YT here, but my initial tests have also shown potential on Pinterest. I'd like to explore both. My issue is that I'm busy with other parts of my career and have little experience with online platforms, so I would like to bring on a creative collaborator and business partner who can hold me accountable and direct my efforts as I do this. Required: Must be local to Brooklyn/nyc (this is in-person work). Must know YouTube and ideally have extensive marketing experience on all major platforms. Must be comfortable operating a camera, editing experience a plus. Otherwise, I already have the camera and a mic, as well as film experience. I'm also part of a network of filmmakers who can help us if need be. Also fyi -- I'd like the visuals/aesthetic to have a raw edge, while still remaining direct and easy to understand. Presently, I'm not that interested in following any content trends, but I'm open to different points of view on this. (I'll expand and give references if we end up speaking.) This is a side project for me, but I know it will work so I want to make it happen. I'm interested in profit sharing, and we can discuss what that means. I'm very open to all possibilities and am committed to it feeling fair for both of us. Also willing to expand my ideas for the channel to include what you might have in mind. Send me your portfolio/resume and a short intro to apply. Please be patient with my response - I'm casting a wide net. This will be an anti-Ai , anti-ICE, pro-lgbt, pro-indigenous, pro-Palestine, pro-women endeavor that seeks to empower and give back.
