Established artist looking for an assistant. I do absurdist comedic photography and video work. So much of my time right now is spent on tedious, office-y busywork... Packing up and shipping out orders (I have two compilation books and other merch), coordinating with actors and crew for shoots, dealing with Patreon subscribers complaining that they didn't get their monthly reward in the mail, and so so much printing... * The ideal candidate will be proactive about taking non-creative work off my shoulders so I can spend more of my time / energy on creative * I can pay $17/hr and can guarantee 15 hours a week. How we split up those hours can vary week to week depending on your schedule and what's going on here at the studio (located in Bushwick). Ideal candidate is someone preferably out of film school and knows their way around a callsheet and a set, but flexible on that. Someone organized and practical but appreciates the creative side of life. Someone willing to stick around a while as my artistic practice continues to grow.
