Hey everyone! I'm looking for a camera op in the Los Angeles area for ongoing vertical music performance videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts). This is a shooting-only gig. No editing required. I have about 16 shoot days I'd like to knock out between now and early September, so I'm hoping to find someone I can work with consistently. I'm looking for someone who: Shoots Sony regularly (especially the FX30 or similar). Is comfortable exposing S-Log. Doesn't mind handling load-in and load-out. Can work independently and have shots framed before I arrive. Likes collaborating on composition and bringing creative ideas to the table. I'm pretty particular about framing, but I'm not looking for someone to just press record. I love collaborating and hearing ideas. My goal is to make every shoot as efficient as possible. A typical indoor shoot day looks like: 1:00 PM – Load-in 2:00–6:00 PM – Shoot Load-out afterward We'll be shooting on my Sony FX30. I prefer using my camera so all of the footage stays on one system and I don't have to manage media from multiple cameras. I also have a full lighting and grip package. My PA can bring all of my gear to set, and I'm happy to send you my gear list ahead of time. If you're more comfortable using some of your own lights or support gear, I'm totally open to that too. I also have a vertical cage for the FX30, so we're already set up to shoot vertical. I'll provide shot maps, lighting references, and creative direction before each shoot. My PA can also help with load-in and help get compositions framed before I arrive, so the goal is to hit the ground running and spend our time actually shooting.
