Amazing lens that I'm letting go because I haven't used it in 15 years. Made in Japan. Slightly flattening dent on the rim above the word Zeiss. Infinitesimal scratch on the front of the lens. Low price to compensate for these flaws. If you are an enthusiast perhaps you'll give it a good cleaning, better than mine!
