CASTING: 70-YEAR-OLD MALE — VOICE OVER — 1 LINE Forestfire Productions is casting a male voice actor who can naturally sound around 70 years old for a small voice-over role in an independent feature film. This is VERY simple — you literally only have to say one line: "JOHN OSGOOD" THE SCENE: The scene is a voicemail. The main character, Peter, has been kidnapped and calls his father's cell phone. The phone rings and goes to voicemail. The automated message says: "THE CELLULAR CALLER YOU HAVE REACHED..." Then we hear the actor naturally say: "JOHN OSGOOD" ...followed by a phone beep. That's it — ONE LINE of voice-over. DETAILS: • $45 stipend • IMDb and on-screen film credit • Voice-over only • Professional home studio is ok, but not required — you can record on a cell phone • A cell phone recording in a quiet room should work fine for this particular scene • We are hoping to record within the next 2 weeks • Please be comfortable doing multiple takes and re-recording if needed — the line is very simple, but the timing is important Location: We are currently filming in North Carolina, but you do not need to be in North Carolina, New York, Los Angeles, or anywhere specific.
