Casting actors for the short web-series "Jaylen Rewrites Spider-Man", a comedic retelling of the classic superhero from the point of view of the MCU's biggest hater: JAYLEN. This is a SCARY MOVIE, STARVING GAMES, Austin Powers style of parody movie. Also a homage to the Max Landis Cooking with Comics videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnDyuNBakV8 Episode One shoots in the evening on Thursday, August 6th. CHARACTERS: JAYLEN is an extremely opinionated, extremely online fanboy who is never satisfied with any adaptation, and constantly makes his friends listen to his long, rambling, unnecessarily offensive 'alternate ideas' for big franchise movies. In the superhero sequences, Jaylen plays his own version of Tony Stark, Thanos, and all the 'cool' characters. DYLAN is a nerdy, eager-to-be-liked people pleaser who never pushes back on Jaylen's insane opinions because he finds them funny — but when someone is complaining about MARVEL, all bets are off. In the superhero sequences, Dylan plays Peter Parker. Alan is the loud, bro-y hype-man of the friend group. He never really has a strong opinion; he just wants to overreact to everything and yell 'YOOO' a lot. In the superhero sequences, Alan plays Flash Thompson, Venom and various other Spider-Man villains.
