We are a group of four university students looking for actors to star in our 4-minute film for a filmmaking course. This film explores two long-time friends with things they haven't said to each other in the brief time they have between a nuclear strike warning and their deaths. It is of a more serious tone and contains themes related to mental health, which some may find triggering. Location: Coquitlam, BC Shoot date: Either Saturday, March 21st, or Sunday, March 22nd, depending on availability. Compensation: Meals provided for duration of the shoot time. Union status: Non-Union Roles: Character A: young adult roughly university student-aged, any gender and ethnicity Anxious and emotional person who often worries about being liked by others. Upon the threat of nuclear strike, they deal with regret over the things they won't have time to do in the future. Despite all their self-focused spiraling however, they care deeply about their best friend, Character B. Character B: young adult roughly university student-aged, any gender and ethnicity A seemingly aloof person who comes across as very closed off and sardonic. Upon the the threat of nuclear strike, they deal with regret over their past actions. They don't let this show, however, and put on an indifferent face.
