We're casting for a indie budget, dark, grounded, culturally-rooted horror story centered around identity, humiliation, and transformation. Award winning DP secured. Polished vetted script locked and loaded. 🩸 LEAD — "THE MAN" (JAXAR) Black male, early–late 20s Slim to average build. Must have presence without saying much. Quiet. Observant. Internal. The kind of person people overlook… until they don't. This role requires emotional range: - subtle vulnerability - restraint under pressure - physical acting (minimal dialogue, heavy expression) You must be comfortable portraying: trauma, transformation, and psychological intensity. This is the soul of the film. — SOUTH END FIVE (BULLIES) — 5 ROLES (4 male, 1 female) Black actors, early 20s–early 30s Natural chemistry is KEY. This group must feel real—not forced. They are funny… until they're not. Looking for: - strong personalities - natural, conversational delivery - improvisational ability (important) Each bully has a distinct energy: - The Leader (dominant, controlled, dangerous) - The Instigator (loud, witty, keeps things going) - The Female (sharp, cutting, playful but ruthless) - The Background Pair (subtle, reactive, adds realism) Must be comfortable with: - layered dialogue - group dynamics - scenes that escalate from humor → tension → violence This group sets everything in motion. — 🩺 DR. DONOVAN GODSPEED Black male, 40s–50s Tall, grounded, commanding presence Calm. Centered. Almost otherworldly. Speaks with intention. Never rushed. Feels like he knows more than he says.
