We are currently assembling our creative team and cast for a short dance film scheduled to shoot in February 2026. This project explores self-confidence, self-expression, and stepping fully into your power through movement. The story follows women who use dance as a form of release and identity, capturing those in-between moments where energy shifts and confidence grows. Visually, the film blends R&B and hip-hop–inspired choreography with cinematic storytelling. Set against a city backdrop, the project highlights individuality, freedom, and authentic expression through dance. Developed by a Women in Film LA member, this project is focused on creative collaboration and strong visual storytelling. NOW SEEKING DANCERS We are casting female dancers to perform in a story-driven dance film. Ideal candidates: • Confident on camera • Experience in R&B / hip-hop styles • Professional, reliable, collaborative • Comfortable rehearsing prior to filming VIDEOGRAPHER / CAMERA OPERATOR We are also seeking an experienced videographer or camera operator to lead principal photography.
