Casting female roles ONLY for a series of short films (some to be combined into an anthology) and one feature film, shooting in LA across late summer/fall and into winter. Each production will have paid rehearsals. The shorts are likely to be shot in one or two days (depending on technical requirements). The feature will have a longer rehearsal period so that it can be shot in very long unbroken takes, like a stage play. All roles are open for any ethnicity. Both union and non-union performers are encouraged to submit. Can cast SAG-AFTRA members as well as SAG-E, as well as non-union. Roles will NOT result in Taft-Hartley for non-union. Rate for role depends on size of role as well as additional requirements, as well as previous experience. Minimum rate will be $250/8 for non-nude speaking roles and $600/8 for roles which include nudity. Willing to consider higher rates for performers with special abilities and experience. The role of Melanie is technically the only role with a sex scene but that takes place 100% under a blanket so is implied. Different roles have individual requirements -- see notes for each.
