Hi, Casting five parts for a short film shooting this summer in upstate New York: a darkly comedic thriller about mistaken identity and culture clash. No acting experience necessary. Comfort with improv is a plus. DASHA: (20-40) A burnt out NYC millennial unaware of her own toxicity. ANDIE & ANDY: (20-40) A party hungry gay couple looking to lift the spirit of their down and out friend with an quaint upstate weekend. OFFICER MARK (20-50): A small town police officer with an inflated sense of main character heroism. Any familiarity with real police work or military experience is a plus. MIHAI (30-50): Queer farmer, anarchist, head of a commune and farming collective. Any familiarity with agriculture is a plus. Please send a picture, short video, and a few sentences about yourself. We'll be setting up a round of zoom auditions in the next few weeks, with an in person call back the following week. Production is aiming for two weekends mid July. Thank you!
