Hello! I am a filmmaker and educator based in New York City. I am casting for a small, independent production which will involve me working closely with an actor to develop a character over the course of a few weeks. I am planning on shooting a portion of a larger script that will serve as a test for the remaining scenes. This project would be suitable for anyone who is passionate about INDEPENDENT cinema and would like to work closely with a director who is similarly passionate. I have access to film stock and a 16mm camera, so it's also an opportunity to be an apart of a project SHOT ON FILM! This will be a non-paid role. I am open to collaborating in a quid-pro-quo manner with anyone who also is working on their own projects! I have experience on set and love all things film. While the part specifically calls for a female in her late 20s/early 30s, I implore anyone who's interested in working on an independent film to reach out. I am always open to making acquaintances in the independent film world and would like to tap into any existing networks in New York City.
