We are casting performers for an immersive performance accompanying the release of a new music project in Los Angeles. The artist's sound could best be described as "Fairy Trap" — a dark, ethereal blend of fantasy and experimental pop. The event takes place inside a dilapidated house that will be transformed into the setting of a funeral. Guests will move through the space as mourners gather to grieve the "death" of the artist. Performers will embody family members, friends, and figures connected to the deceased, helping create a living atmosphere of ritual and grief. This is less about traditional scripted acting and more about presence, character, and atmosphere. Think immersive theatre, environmental storytelling, and durational performance. We are looking for performers of all ages and backgrounds to help create the feeling of a real gathering of family and friends. People ranging from children to seniors are welcome to participate. We are especially interested in unusual faces, eccentric personalities, and people comfortable inhabiting strange or unconventional characters. This is a volunteer project, but food and drinks will be provided. The event will include a curated guest list from the arts and music community. If you're interested, please reply with your name, age, and a recent photo, along with a short note about yourself (professional experience is not required). Location: Boyle Heights Date: March 20th
