We are casting the lead role in a funded independent short drama produced by a small production company. We are seeking a talented actress in her early to late 20s with a strong emotional presence. This role is envisioned for a woman of color, and we especially encourage Black women to submit. Previous acting experience is preferred but not required. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who can bring authenticity, vulnerability, and emotional depth to the performance. The film will shoot in late September (exact dates to be finalized) in NYC, and this is a paid opportunity.
