$150 Cash Stipend / Shoot at Your Home I am a female filmmaker currently working on a thesis project for Columbia University. I am looking for a breastfeeding/nursing mother and her newborn infant to participate in a brief film scene. Compensation & Time: Stipend: $150 cash paid immediately upon completion. Time: 1 to 2 hours maximum (depending on how quickly we can lock in the camera frame without disrupting you or the baby). We will come directly to your home. The film explores the relationship between technology and humanity. The scene is slow and completely static, reconstructing the archetype of "Madonna and Child" in a modern domestic setting. Safety and comfort conditions: The filmmaking team consists of two people: me and my husband/collaborator. To ensure your total privacy, my husband will help set up the camera and then step out of the room entirely. Only I will be present in the room with you during the actual shoot. You are encouraged to have your partner, family members, or friends present in your home throughout the entire shooting process. We are bringing no heavy lighting equipment or crew gear.
