Casting one background performer (but featured) for a very small grounded sci-fi short film shoot in downtown Los Angeles. The role: A person physically "checked out" from reality and connected into a futuristic digital system called The Rill. The shot involves being slumped/resting on a bench while wearing a subtle practical neck implant prosthetic created by our makeup FX artist. Very minimal acting required — mostly presence/vibe. Shoot Details: Date: June 4 Approx. 5–6 hours total Downtown Los Angeles Rate: $100 flat Bonus if you live in/near the Valley since part of the prosthetic application may happen before heading downtown. The overall tone is grounded, cinematic, and emotionally realistic rather than campy sci-fi.
