I'm looking for an experienced colorist to grade a 4 minute sci-fi horror short film. The footage is almost entirely exterior night (but well composed/lit). We shot on Alexa35. There are vfx and creatures in it. I'm looking to complete the color grade during that first or second week of August. The rate isn't set yet, but this is a low budget project and I'm looking for bids/quotes that won't break the bank. Without seeing the project, please give me a rough estimate at how long and how much it would cost on average to color a 4 minute piece. We want this to look great, so only full time freelance colorists need apply (please only send cinematic or commercial examples, not TikTok reels). Please send over a reel/portfolio with your best/most recent work - if your style and skills match my needs, I will be reaching out!
