ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and motivated Creative Assistant to support a working photographer and creative team. This is an in-office position that blends creative, administrative, and production responsibilities. You'll play a key role in helping business development outreach, execute photo shoots, manage creative projects, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. As well as on-set BTS social media video capture! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the photography, creative, or marketing industry and gain hands-on experience. LA BASED ONLY, MUST HAVE VEHICLE https://www.doveshore.com RESPONSIBILITIES: Creative Support: - Assist with shoot planning and creative development - Research references, locations, props, and talent - Help prepare mood boards and creative decks - Assist with equipment prep and studio organization - Support on-set during photo and video shoots (as needed) Office & Administrative: - Manage schedules and calendars - Business development outreach - Organize files, images, and project folders - Help with client communication and follow-ups - Coordinate deliveries, rentals, and shoot logistics - Maintain studio/office organization Content & Marketing Support: - Assist with social media content planning - Help select images for Instagram, website, and marketing - Light video editing (if experienced) - Assist with website updates and portfolio organization QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Interest in photography, creative production, or marketing - Strong communication skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Comfortable working in-office BONUS (Not Required but Preferred): - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) - Social media experience (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) - Previous experience in photography or creative industry - Basic knowledge of cameras and lighting WHAT YOU'LL GAIN: - Hands-on experience in professional photography - Exposure to commercial, editorial, and creative projects - Opportunity for growth within the creative industry - Collaborative and creative work environment TO APPLY: Please send: - Resume - Brief note about why you're interested - Portfolio or examples of creative work - Instagram Email: matt@doveshore.com Subject Line: Creative Assistant Application
