I'm a New York City–based writer, performer, producer, actor, voice artist, and stand-up comedian looking for a long-term creative collaborator to help shape and grow my online presence. My work spans stand-up, theater, film, voiceover, and education, and is connected by themes of identity, transformation, culture, family, and belonging. This is not simply a social media manager position. I'm looking for someone with strong storytelling instincts who understands how to build an authentic creative brand through thoughtful content. This role begins as a paid freelance position (approximately 3–8 hours/week) with the hope of building a long-term creative collaboration. Responsibilities Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Review long-form content and identify the strongest moments. Help develop an overall content strategy and visual style. Organize and repurpose an existing library of content. Write captions and help maintain a consistent posting schedule. Help build a cohesive online presence across my work as an actor, comedian, writer, producer, and voice artist. As the role grows, help capture rehearsals, performances, behind-the-scenes content, and other creative process footage (NYC-based preferred). Ideal Candidate Excellent storytelling instincts. Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar). Great sense of pacing and comedic timing. Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Organized, collaborative, proactive, and communicative. Excited about building an artist's brand over time. Appreciation for work exploring identity, culture, the first-generation experience, and belonging is a strong plus. Please note: I already have a substantial library of content to work from, so the initial focus will be editing, storytelling, and content strategy. Content capture will become a larger part of the role over time. To Apply Please send: Portfolio and/or editing reel. 3–5 examples of short-form content you've created. A brief note about why this role interests you. Your hourly or project rate. Your location. Bonus: Tell me about a creator whose online content you think is exceptionally well-crafted—and why.
