Hi, I am a kirtan artist. Kirtan is call and response singing from the Bhakti Yoga tradition - most often led at yoga studios. I am seeking a filmmaker who would like to create a documentary with me about kirtan and Bhakti yoga. It will be educational in nature with the theme being to inspire people to bring more love into the world. I will talk about the path of Bhakti, my spiritual journey, and my guru. We will film on Long Island where I live. Thus I am seeking someone who can commute here on a few different days with ease. I envision the film being up to 10 minutes long once edited. I have the following locations in mind: Live Kirtan at a Yoga Studio in Smithtown (For this, I think I would prefer an Phone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max. for a very small footprint) Interview with me at the same studio before the kirtan (same note as above) Live Interview / Solo performance of me in another yoga studio in E. Setauket when we have the space to ourselves Live Interview / Solo performance of me at my home in Melville Live Interview somewhere in nature I already have some additional live footage from other kirtans for post production. When replying, please let me know how you can contribute to this project based on your prior experience. Please include links to any documentary projects you've both filmed and edited in the past. Thank you!
