Hello fabulous female vocalists and charismatic performers! We are a dark/pop electronic rock act (that has had several Berklee Alums involved) that has been around since 2002 with 9 albums, songs in several TV shows, national touring experience, and multiple music videos as well as professional representation/publicity. We are preparing to re-boot the project beginning in 2026 and are looking for a co-lead/backing vocalist to join forces with a seasoned male frontman and experienced female drummer for recordings, videos, photoshoots, selected performances, and high-profile promotional campaigns over time. We want to incorporate this woman into our new image, style, videos, promotional photos, and highly promoted recordings that will be seen by very high-profile music industry professionals and represented by major publicists and press outlets. The reboot is gradual and would involve remote recording for an entire album, video shoot in LA, photoshoots, and selected live performances for events as well as potential festivals and showcases. So, if you are already performing more frequently locally with a band or project, then this could still work for you as things are planned out and scheduled well in advance. Style of singing would cover a hybrid of rock, pop, and some soul as well. Think of a hybrid of Christina Aguilera, Bebe Rexha, H.ER., and Dua Lipa, mixed with male and female harmonies mixed with an approximate Depeche Mode/darker Prince vibe. If you can go into any of those directions vocally, your voice will fit very well on various songs. Image wise we are looking for someone that has lots of confidence and edge as the music is intense, sensual, and edgy (think Prince as far as some of the lyrics go), and leans into pop-electro/dark atmospheres. Think of Bebe Rexha in the videos for "Unchain My Heart" and "Break My Heart Myself" or a variation on that. If you can go into that ballpark and like edgy pop/electronic/with a rock edge, you'll nail this. Most of the women that have participated in the project over the years came from very different genres, but added so much to it, so do not hesitate to send in your videos/photos/info if you are a powerful singer-songwriter or hard rock vocalist, or sing R+B.
