Hype Studios, a photo and production studio in Silver Lake, is looking to build a roster of reliable, experienced cyclorama wall painters for ongoing freelance work. We regularly need our cyc walls refreshed, repaired, repainted white, or changed to custom colors for photo and video productions. We are specifically looking for people who have experience working with studio cyc walls. This is not a general interior painting job. Work may include: * Painting cyc walls and floors * Returning cycs to clean studio white * Custom color changes for productions * Patching, sanding, and surface prep * Touch-ups and repairs * Maintaining smooth, camera-ready finishes * Cleanup after painting This is freelance, as-needed work, not a full-time position. We want to establish relationships with a few dependable painters we can call regularly as jobs come up. Some requests may have short turnaround times, so proximity to Silver Lake is helpful. Typical jobs are approximately 2 hours and pay $80. Hype Studios provides paint and materials. Larger repaints, repairs, custom colors, or longer calls will be compensated separately based on scope. Location: Hype Studios, Silver Lake / Echo Park area, Los Angeles When replying, please include: * Name * Phone number * Cyc/studio painting experience * Typical rate or minimum * General availability * Photos or examples of previous cyc work, if available Professional studio cyc experience is strongly preferred.
