We are seeking an experienced sound editor and re-recording mixer to complete audio post-production for approximately 20 minutes of newly added material in a feature film. The original feature has already been professionally mixed. The goal is to edit, redesign and mix the additional scenes so they integrate seamlessly with the sound and overall quality of the existing film. The ideal candidate can independently handle the full scope of work, including: * Dialogue editing and cleanup * Noise reduction and audio restoration * ADR integration, if required * Sound-effects editing * Sound design * Foley editing or supplementation * Music editing and mixing * Ambience and background editing * 5.1 surround and stereo mixing * Final mastering and quality control Production stems and audio elements are available for the new scenes, but portions may require substantial remixing, editing or redesign. We will also provide the existing final mix as a reference so the new material can be matched consistently. **Required deliverables:** * Final 5.1 surround mix * Final stereo mix * Dialogue, music and effects stems * M&E mix, if available within the agreed scope * Broadcast/distribution-ready files that will pass professional QC * Revised files to address any reasonable QC issues related to the completed work The preliminary estimate is approximately 3–5 working days, but we welcome an experienced assessment after reviewing the materials. This is a paid project. Please respond with: * A brief introduction * Résumé and IMDb link * Relevant feature-film credits * Examples of previous mixing or sound-post work * Description of your studio, monitoring environment and equipment * Experience delivering theatrical and digital-platform masters * Availability * Proposed rate or project quote * Whether you carry out all work personally or use additional collaborators Applicants must have access to a properly calibrated professional mixing environment suitable for creating reliable 5.1 and stereo deliverables. Experience preparing independent feature films for theatrical and major digital-platform distribution is strongly preferred.
