I'm building a documentary-style project focused on collecting real human stories in public spaces. This is not influencer content and not trend-based social media. The focus is respectful, in-person storytelling — similar in spirit to projects like Humans of New York, Hunter Prosper or Soft White Underbelly. I'm currently looking for 1–3 field interviewers in major cities to help collect short street interviews that will be edited and published by me. What you'll do - Approach people in high-foot-traffic public areas (downtowns, campuses, parks, plazas) - Hand them a bracelet with an engraved question that invites them to share a short story - Ask gentle follow-up questions if needed to help guide their response - Record their response on a phone, following a specific filming guide - Capture the required filming elements (story, brief silent living still, and bracelet shot on their palm) - Deliver raw footage (no editing, no posting) - Give the participant the bracelet and a call-to-action card for their own use What you will NOT do - Appear on camera or act as an on-screen host - Edit, post, or manage video content - Run or manage social media accounts - Pitch, sell, or promote products Compensation for field test - Initial paid test consists of 5 interviews - Compensation is $10 per approved, usable clip - Payment is issued after delivery and review (via standard digital payment) About the project - This is an early-stage startup project. Social media is the distribution layer for a much larger system focused on preserving and sharing real human stories. For the right person, there is room to grow into: - Recurring monthly work that can be completed over a weekend - Increased compensation per usable clip - deeper involvement on the content side - commission and revenue-share opportunities as the project scales That said, everything starts with a small paid test to make sure we work well together.
