Film Camera Lens Gear - Leica, Contax Rangefinder $100 Vancouver
Equipment
Posted by icrewzbot
Selling a lot of my unused or lesser-used equipment, essentially at a cost basis from what I paid (so probably not too much room on price for most of them). If you're looking for some higher-end rangefinder equipment that isn't listed here, happy to talk about what I do have and possibly work out deals if we've got matching interests. Meet preferably around Oakridge - 41st station in a cafe or public location. Happy to consider trades for similar equipment! More photos will be added soon when I get a chance to take 'em, or email me for test shots and lots of photos! The List: LEICA MOUNTS: - Summicron 50mm f/2 collapsible, radioactive (thoriated), LTM: Has small patch of fog in rear element; doesn't seem to affect images from what I can tell. Glass is very yellow, but the front elements and internals are miraculously unscratched and extremely clean; aperture/focus all very smooth. Asking 525. Good CLA/repair candidate. Leitz Summar 50mm f/2: Very clean example of a classic lens. No noticeable scratching on front element. Slight haze possibly? Asking 275. - 90mm f2.8 Elmarit for Leica M, chrome, has fungus on rear element that does not affect image quality. Fine lens, I can probably give you a chrome front cap with it too. Asking 150. Tokyo Kogaku 50mm f3.5 Simlar, LTM mount: Japanese Leitz Elmar copy, down to the aperture being right behind the front element unlike the Tessars. Optically great; focus and aperture smooth. Collapsing barrel wobbles a bit; would benefit from replacing the felt. Asking 100. Amedeo Contax > LTM coupled adapter. Has some wear, but still works nicely. Amedeo still makes his vaunted adapters in M, but I haven't seen a screwmount batch in a while. These fit both inner- and outer-claw lenses, and can be slapped onto an M-adapter afterwards. Asking 450. CONTAX RANGEFINDER: 85mm f/2 Opton-Sonnar for Contax Rangefinder mount: Great optically, some wear on body. Bought from Fujiya Camera in Japan. This thing is best used shooting with a hood. Asking 300 OBO, great lens if you shoot Contax! (And if you are one of the rare few that shoots Contax rangefinder, you are one of my people and I'd be happy to negotiate on anything in this section.) - 85mm f/2 Nikkor for Contax ('C'-marked) Rangefinder Mount: Bought from UsedPhotoPro in the US for 170, had a mark on the front element that might be a chip but definitely affects image quality when stopped-down past f4. Asking $130 due to the rarity of the lens and the fact one can put a Nikon optical block into it for repair. Comes with hood. OTHER: Nikkor S-C 50mm f1.4, Nikon S-mount: Great optically. Aperture ring has some resistance to it. Asking 105. - Zeiss Super-Ikonta 645 folder: Rangefinder and viewfinder are great. Lens is decent. Bellows could badly use a replacement; AFAIK they are light-tight but they've been taped. Asking 80. Schneider-Kreuznach Symmar 180mm/convertable in Synchro-Compur -- Has slight haze, shutter works fine. Mostly because it's too darn heavy. Asking 110. Throw in an extra $30 and I'll give you a metal Tachihara/Wista/etc-fit lens board I bought for it.
