Working on a experimental film shooting this summer in NYC, mostly around Brooklyn and Queens. Looking for 3-4 performers who are physically uninhibited, comfortable with nudity, and willing to do things that are socially considered strange, funny, and occasionally uncomfortable along with myself. All types and backgrounds welcome. No formally-trained acting experience needed (in fact, none might be better). What I'm looking for is closer to physical instinct than performance. The concept involves bodies discovering the world for the first time. Think less drama, more animal behavior. Crawling, feeding, touching, exploring. Raw and strange but not exploitative. Comfort being naked or near-naked on camera, unbothered by being occasionally "weird" in public. Physically committed, this is movement-based work. This is a real project by a working filmmaker.
