"In 1989 Denver, a debt collector is forced to confront the cost of money when he is assigned the debt of someone he once loved." I'm seeking a local filmmaker or film student in the Denver area to collaborate on a feature-length independent drama titled A Good Day Never Ends. This is a character-driven, atmospheric story set against the economic and cultural shifts of late-1980s America. Think intimate, grounded storytelling with strong visual tone and moral tension. PROJECT OVERVIEW: A Good Day Never Ends follows Calvin, a debt collector working inside a ruthless agency where profit is valued above consequence. As his partner rises within the system—at the cost of her own humanity—Calvin is assigned a seemingly small debt tied to someone from his past. What begins as routine becomes deeply personal, forcing him to confront the systems he serves and the meaning of success in a world where everything has a price. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: • Producer/Director / Filmmaker (or strong all-around creator) • Film student or emerging filmmaker welcome • Interest in character-driven drama and period storytelling • Someone who wants to collaborate creatively, not just execute • Based in or near Denver (important for authenticity and logistics) ABOUT ME: My name is Cory Cason. I'm a novelist, poet, and nonfiction writer focused on themes of fractured perception, moral ambiguity, and transitional states. This project is an expansion of that work into film. • A fully developed feature screenplay • Opportunity to shape the visual and narrative direction • Strong portfolio piece / festival potential • Creative partnership from the ground up (Compensation / budget can be discussed depending on scope and direction of the project.) TO RESPOND: Please send: • A little about yourself • Links to any previous work (film, video, reel, etc.) • Why this project interests you Thoughtful responses only This can be shot on a small budget. Most of it takes place in office and loft. Six main actors. If you like the idea I can send you the script. Cory Cason
