Key Technical SpecificationsSensor: 16-megapixel 1/2-inch Back-Side Illuminated (BSI) EXR CMOS sensor.Lens: 30x optical manual barrel zoom (24–720mm equivalent focal range) with an f/2.8–5.6 maximum aperture.Screen & Viewfinder: 3.0-inch tilting LCD screen (460,000 dots) alongside an electronic viewfinder (EVF) with an integrated eye sensor.Video Capture: Full HD 1080p recording at 30 frames per second with stereo sound. Reviewers from What Digital Camera noted this makes framing far quicker and more precise.Versatile EXR Sensor Modes: The camera features a unique sensor layout that can adapt to different environments. It offers a 'High Resolution' mode at full 16MP, a 'Dynamic Range' mode to prevent blown-out highlights, and a 'Signal to Noise' mode that pairs pixels together for vastly improved low-light shooting at 8MP.Extensive Physical Controls: The chassis mimics a DSLR body with a deep grip, a dedicated command dial, full PASM manual exposure options, and a one-touch hardware button to switch to RAW format.
