FILM TESTED-Minolta SRT 100 35mm Film Camera+ Vivitar/Cosina 28–70mm Personal shooter...thinning the gear. the 100 has always been a personal favorite of mine in the SRT series. I cleaned, lubricated and adjusted this camera myself and replaced the mirror and mirror-box foam. I am very familiar with working on and with the SRT cameras, but I am not representing this as a professional CLA. Following that work, the camera has operated properly in my use. Cosmetically, the camera is very clean overall, with a few minor bright marks from normal use, principally on the bottom plate. Mechanically, the camera operates properly in use. Film advance and rewind operate normally and smoothly, the shutter fires properly, and the speeds are within spec. The meter responds normally and seems reasonably accurate in my use. I recommend comparing the camera against a handheld light meter a phone metering ap, or another camera whose meter you trust. If there is a small consistent difference, simply use the SRT's ASA/ISO setting to establish the working calibration for the film you normally use. I am also including a battery adapter and fresh battery that allow the camera to use a readily available LR44 rather than the original obsolete mercury cell. Included is a Vivitar/Cosina 28–70mm f/3.5–4.8 MC Two touch Macro Focusing Zoom. I own several of these cosina zooms in various mounts. they are great lightweight and flexible. And a two touch zoom dials into whatever focal length and you can treat it like a prime on the street for range focusing purposes vs a one touch push pull which is a nightmare under street conditions. The lens operates normally in my use and has worked well with this camera. I can swap out a Rokkor or a 28mm street prime
