Hey! Looking for both Keyboardists and drummers for a really easy and really fun gig doing kids birthday parties in New York City, Brooklyn, Long Island and Westchester (ok if you can only do one area, will hire multiple people if needed). We do Birthdays and concerts for 0-6 year olds. Do a mix of Top - 40 Adult and kids songs, some disney soundtrack sort of stuff as well. Try our very best to be a least cheesy as possible and make all the kids songs really upbeat and fun for the adult as well check out a couple videos of us. https://youtu.be/pQnlumqJdTk?si=j0K4Fdw8Rg9r9z56https://youtu.be/pQnlumqJdTk?si=j0K4Fdw8Rg9r9z56 I'll also send our website of course to those who apply. Gigs are usually 30-45 minutes long. At least paying 100 for 30 minutes and 110 for 45 minutes for local gigs (plus tips) or 200+ if you're doing any kind of significant travel (like if you live in the city but travel to long island or westchester). We can get into more specifics of pricing when we talk further because there are a lot of variables depending on where you live and I compensate for travel time. usually We arrive 40 minutes before the gig and try to clean up and leave within 20 minutes after the gig is done You should be a truly proficient pro musician really if you apply. I know this is kids music, but we are really known for being the top outfit in the city for kids gigs. Please be competent in most every style (rock n roll, Hop hop, reggae, ska, bluegrass, etc) . be a seasoned gigging musician. Keyboardists should be really adept at transposing as needed. Drummers should be able to play with high energy while also being able to keep the dynamics really soft. Being able to sing is also a huge plus, but not a formal requirement. If you get the gig we'll do a paid rehearsal (minimum wage but paid none the less) but then we will not rehearse after that. I have found that people with wedding band experience have a super easy time with this gig because we do a bunch of the classic covers you might often hear at a wedding. Look forward to hearing from you! Dan
