National Park Planner (npplan.com), the largest National Park review website ever created by a private citizen (meaning no affiliation with the National Park Service or the federal government) seeks a host for National Park Review and Fun Facts videos. These are "talking head" videos shot in a studio using a teleprompter. Videos range from 5 to 15 minutes in length. REQUIRED SKILLS • Physically fit, attractive, and charismatic (the videos discuss hiking, biking, and paddling, so look the part) • Able to bring life and natural enthusiasm to scripts read from a teleprompter • Able to work when needed in Roswell, Georgia PAY (CONTRACT BASIS) • $200 per video (can probably shoot 2-3 videos in a day) Workload can easily top 200 videos, though this will take a year or more. Keep in mind that video hosting is not a full-time job, and this work can be scheduled around other jobs or classes you may have. Nights and weekend work is fine. This could lead to additional or full-time work depending on your knowledge of Adobe software and the ability to travel. However, this it not a requirement for the Video Host job. TO APPLY 1) Create an audition video of yourself narrating the script below. Place this on a video platform and provide a link. Be sure the link is public, not private. You do not have to memorize the script. You can read from a piece of paper, but make it as natural sounding as possible. 2) Fill out the application at https://npplan.com/jobs ------------------------------------------ SCRIPT Hi, I'm [Your Name] with National Park Planner, the largest national park-based website ever written by a private citizen. National Park Planner is not associated with the National Park Service or the federal government. We currently have 184 detailed park reviews on the website, which includes nearly 5,000 pages of information and over 21,000 photographs. Today I am going to cover all there is to see and do at Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument in Washington, DC. The park was authorized by Barrack Obama per the Antiquities Act in 2016, which meant he didn't need any Congressional approval. The park is located inside the Sewall-Belmont House. It's east of the Capital building, just a ten minute walk, so it can easily fit into your itinerary if you are visiting the Capital, the National Mall, and the White House on foot. And when visiting destinations in Washington, D. C., don't be a dummy and drive downtown. Take the metro. There are two stations within a ten-minute walk of the park. Union Station is .4 miles away and is accessed via the Red Line or Amtrack, and the Capitol South Station, which is accessed via the orange, blue, or silver line, is .6 miles away. Be aware that this is not a house museum that is lavishly decorated with period furniture like you would see on an antebellum plantation tour or at the mansion at Hampton National Historic Site in Baltimore. It is a museum dedicated to the women's suffrage movement that led to the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920 that outlawed sex discrimination in regards to voting, which essentially gave women the right to vote.
