New to LA and launching an exciting production company from the ground up! Starting with a lighting equipment rental business, we're building toward full video/film production. Need a motivated intern (videographer & content editor combo ideal) to document the entire road to success – from hauling gear and setting up rentals, to filming behind-the-scenes, client shoots, equipment demos, social content, and more. What you'll do: Shoot video (interviews, gear demos, day-in-the-life, progress updates) Edit raw footage into engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube shorts, promos) Help with hands-on tasks: loading/unloading lighting kits, transport/setup (involves regular heavy lifting – gear cases, stands, etc.) Collaborate on creative ideas to showcase the build-out Ideal candidate: Passionate about video production, editing, storytelling Experience with cameras, Premiere Pro/Final Cut/DaVinci (or willing to learn fast) Reliable, hardworking, positive attitude – we're grinding from startup phase Comfortable with physical work (lifting 50+ lbs regularly) Male preferred due to consistent heavy lifting requirements, but open to strong candidates of any gender who can handle it. New to LA? Even better – we're in the same boat and building our network together! Compensation: Negotiable – this is an internship/startup role with huge potential upside. Trade for experience, portfolio-building, credits, possible future paid gigs/equity as we grow, or small stipend based on skills/commitment. Flexible hours to start (part-time to full-time possible). Location: Los Angeles area (Midwest transplant here too – let's connect!) If this sounds like your chance to get in on the ground floor of something real and document the hustle, reply with: A bit about yourself/your experience Links to any video work/portfolio (even student/phone stuff is fine) Why you're excited about a startup journey Serious inquiries only – let's build something dope!
