Independent filmmaker entering the final phase of post-production on initial feature. I handed my film to a sound editor but, because of life events, he is unable to finish it. As a result, most of the sound has a good skeleton we're working with but it's not finished and still needs to be mixed and cleaned up so we can have it ready for a premiere. The film is primarily one long conversation set in one location so most of the audio and sound design shouldn't require too much SFX work to get down. Audio was recorded on multiple devices so would just be sprucing them up, getting the levels to match and mixing ambience (most of which is already in there; just some of it's too loud or too soft). This is a passion project being paid out-of-pocket so not too much money but will definitely be happy to compensate. Perfect gig for recent college graduate/someone just starting out and looking to get their feet wet as a sound editor. If interested, please email with a little bit about yourself and how well you know sound design. Reels preferred but not required.
