Selling my beloved Leica M7 A La Carte 0.85 Black Rangefinder 35mm Film Camera Body 100% Authentic Serial # 2944964. Full presentation with everything including the outer gray Leica wrapper box, product box, satin-lined presentation box, test certificate of authenticity, instruction manual, warranty card, thank you card, LFI magazine promotional card, camera and original Leica camera strap (never opened). Everything is in MINT perfect like-new condition. Leica serial # 2944964 matches across all of course (camera body, test certificate, product box and outer wrapper). I have shot 3 rolls of film on this camera with great care, but you'd probably never know it. I'd rate it 9.99 out of 10 with no issues, no dents, no scratches, no blemishes at all. The original base plate protective film is still intact (the way the protective film looks with some bubbles is completely normal). Please see photos- you won't be disappointed in its condition. Absolutely babied this incredible camera and it is as close to a brand new 0.85 black M7 as you'll find! This was my film camera grail that took me a while to find brand new, as I wanted a M7 in black with the 0.85 viewfinder that provides more precise focus control and fits my shooting preference better (50mm-135mm). The 0.85 M7 in black is not a standard model and must be ordered via the Leica A La Carte Leica program (now discontinued) so this unit is very rare. I bought this after hunting for it a couple of years from a highly reputable Hong Kong camera dealer. This beauty has lived up to all my expectations from shooting experience to one of a kind build quality, brand presentation, and stellar results- the ability to shoot aperture priority with the full Leica M experience truly checks all the boxes for me. I had fully intended to keep this grail forever and pass it on to the next generation, but an urgent financial need unfortunately necessitates the sale. Extremely sad to see this go, but I may be in the market for this exact camera again in the coming years. Local LA sale preferred, asking $5400 or best reasonable offer. Serious buyers only please.
