I'm shooting trailer scenes for DREAM GIRL, a semi-scripted feature comedy about ROMAN, a desperate single guy who orders his dream girlfriend from an AI robot company. It's about societal expectations, superficiality, playing a role in relationships, ethics and the patriarchy. Characters are ROMAN and ARTHUR (his gay best friend who might also order his perfect BF, already cast), BETTY, and RON. RON and BETTY still need to be cast: RON (30s, any ethnicity), CEO of DREAM, the AI « Lifestyle »robot Company. RON is a 30 year old, nerd-bro, Zuckerberg-type tech guy. BETTY (20s, any ethnicity)The robot girl. Fun and ditzy personality but intense under surface. She has to act like a robot and speaks in a ChatGPT way but she slowly learns from ROMAN and becomes more human. In the end, she's fully comfortable being herself. The DIRECTOR: I need someone with previous directing experience, particularly in comedy. Great if you have your own camera and equipment. Otherwise I have a black magic 4k.
