please make sure to include what the anime looks like so I can decide if I want to move forward I'm looking to connect with writers, creators, animators, or creative teams who have a strong animated feature film concept with real franchise potential. can be a tv series I can pitch your series, but would need to discuss the business part before proceeding Think: – Shrek – Hotel Transylvania – Despicable Me – Spider-Verse – Inside Out – DreamWorks / Pixar-level emotional + commercial appeal I have real entertainment industry connections and I'm interested in finding a project that could potentially be packaged and pitched to high-level executives, studios, producers, or streamers. What I'm looking for: – Original animated feature concepts – Strong world-building – Memorable characters – Family-friendly or four-quadrant appeal – Comedy, adventure, fantasy, emotional storytelling, or culturally fresh ideas – Something that could realistically become a franchise, series, merch brand, or cinematic universe Important: Before discussing materials, we would first discuss: – partnership structure – ownership/IP – producer attachment – backend participation – pitch strategy – expectations and agreement terms This is NOT a "send me random ideas" post. I'm looking for serious creators with strong concepts and long-term vision. If interested, send: – short synopsis/logline – artwork or pitch materials (if available) – why you believe this project stands out – any previous work or portfolio links Looking for something special. What I'd like to see in your pitch materials: • Logline (1–2 sentences) A simple, compelling summary of the story. • Synopsis (1–2 pages) A clear overview of the plot and emotional journey. • World-Building Explain the universe, rules, mythology, and what makes the setting unique. • Character Profiles Main characters with artwork, personalities, motivations, and character arcs. • Animation Style I'd love to see the intended visual direction. Mood boards, concept art, style frames, lookbooks, short animatics, test footage, or references that capture the tone are all welcome. • Visual Development Concept art, environments, creatures, vehicles, props, and key locations. • Why This Project? What makes this stand out in today's market? Why will audiences connect with it? • Franchise Potential How could this world expand into sequels, a television series, spin-offs, merchandise, games, books, or other opportunities? • Target Audience Who is this for? Kids, families, young adults, or a broad four-quadrant audience? • Tone & Genre Comedy, adventure, fantasy, action, heartwarming, musical, sci-fi, etc. • Comparable Projects What audience would naturally gravitate toward this project? (Comparable in audience, not a copy.) • Pilot or Screenplay Material Feature screenplay, pilot script, treatment, or story outline if available. • Creator Background Tell me a bit about yourself and any previous work or portfolio. • Existing Assets Any artwork, comics, books, social media following, short films, trailers, proof-of-concepts, or other materials. Please note: Before reviewing confidential materials, we'd first discuss: • IP ownership • Partnership structure • Producer involvement • Backend participation • Pitch strategy • Expectations and potential deal structure The stronger the package, the better the opportunity to develop and position the project for industry conversations. I'm looking for creators with ambitious ideas, memorable characters, and worlds that audiences could fall in love with for years to come.
