CASTING CALL – FEATURE FILM (VOICEOVER + ON-CAMERA ROLES) Hey everyone! We're nearing the end of production on our feature film — a largely one-location thriller in the vein of BURIED meets PHONE BOOTH meets FROZEN (the chairlift thriller — not the Disney film). We're currently casting a handful of voiceover roles and a few on-camera / TV-watching roles. Most roles (besides the lead) are characters calling on a cell phone / FaceTime, so many parts can be recorded remotely if you have a home studio. We are from New York, and currently filming in Wilmington, NC. Attached please find the poster and the film cross page. REMOTE FRIENDLY / ON-CAMERA EXTRAS Toward the end of the film, we have a montage of working-class people watching TV in a sort of zombie-like, hypnotized way. This can most likely be done remotely, where you record and send footage to us. Couples encouraged! We'd love to cast a few couples watching TV (though we also need singles). If you have a friend or significant other who wants to join, even better. Receives a distressed call but handles it professionally. Mentions he has to leave for another call. FIREFIGHTER #2 (Male, 30s–40s) Mostly background chatter, then a clear line: "We've got to go." Any ethnicity. JOHN OSGOOD (Male, 60s–70s) Main character's father. Heard only via voicemail (1 line). Tone reference: Jon Voight type. LINDA OSGOOD (Female, 50s–60s) Main character's mother. Heard only via voicemail (1 line). Warm but serious. BRIAN (Male, 40s–50s) – News Anchor Classic broadcaster voice. Example line: "Thanks a lot, Amy. We'll have much more on this developing story later." VARIOUS NEWSCASTERS (Any gender / ages) Multiple voices for a news montage. Lines like: "Breaking news!"
