FYM Agency LLC is seeking a seasoned media server admin & general network tech specialist to oversee the implementation of custom NAS systems with remote access via Mac OS machines for video editing and media management. Must be well versed in RAID system architecture, Parsec remote access software, and QNAP, Synology, ubiquiti, unifi, and other common NAS hardware and software systems. Additionally, experience in video and photo media archival practices, remote editing set ups, and general media management is needed to ensure proper file back up practices are executed. This is a hybrid / remote job. With maintenance and hardware work done in our DTLA office and clients around Los Angeles. Responsibilities: - Install NAS hardware locally in Los Angeles office(s) located in Santa Monica and DTLA - Implement RAID systems for adequate redundancy protocols required for valuable video media - Oversee the duplication and transfer of 500 - 1000 Terabytes of Data - Install, troubleshoot and maintain office networks to optimize for remote editing access - Manage remote access software Parsec - Successfully set up Unify UP6 for field use and remote backup to office server - Professional and timely manner when interfacing with clients on site - Clean background and US citizen - 10-30 hours a week to start - Understanding of concert and live event media a plus, but not required Please submit a resume AND linkedin or similar other online profile for us to review.
