This is a microphone blimp for protecting your mic from wind. I think I used it once for a short shoot. It's been in the box since, and it is pretty much new. It's compatible with a series of shotgun-style mics, such as the Rode NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4+, AT875R Line, and the MKE 600.
