Selling a vintage Minolta Maxxum 7000 film camera - the first camera in the world that had autofocus system. This specific camera is a rare sample with crossed XXs on the logo - it was among the very first batches that were produced in 1985 for only a few months before Exxon sued Minolta for similarities in logo. It's believed that those first batches had better build quality and better, more metal internal components. In any case, it's an interesing piece of history. Camera is super clean but has some minor scratches and scuffs over the body, but nothing major. Rubber grip is cracked but glued so it's not falling apart - it happens on all of 7000's with age, unfortunately, but nothing that a piece of Sugru can't fix. Camera is working fine to my knowledge, powers on, takes photos and rolls film just fine. Camera is of a A-mount system and works with any Minolta AF or Sony A-mount lens. Comes with a Minolta 35-100mm f/3.5-4.5 lens and a bonus Magnicon 28-70mm lens (if needed). Cash only. Pick up near Burquitlam Skytrain station.
