Looking for a choreographer for a Motown singing group of gentlemen mostly in their 60s for two rehearsals next week. (Group is 5 male members and most of them do not have any professional dance experience.) You are personable and someone these gentlemen would feel comfortable working. You would be responsible for adding some easy doable steps, working with them and adding to the ideas they already have and adding some cool, easy "Motown Swag" to their movement and performances at rehearsals on the evenings of Dec. 1st and Dec. 4th. (Monday and Thursday next week.) Nothing super fancy or difficult. Choreography would be mostly to the music of The Temptations. Please be familiar with the Motown dance styles of groups like The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Miracles, etc. (At a show they will all be singing in front of their own microphone and mic stand and may not have cordless mics. Each song has at least one lead singer of the 5 guys.) Rehearsal Dates are Dec. 1st and Dec. 4th. Location of studio is midtown west (manhattan). Monday, Dec. 1st (7:30pm to 9:00pm) - 1.5 hours Thursday, Dec. 4th (7:30pm to 9:00pm) - 1.5 hours Budget is a 100 each rehearsal. SONGS (all by The Temptations except one): Get Ready (first half of song) My Girl Ain't Too Proud To Beg The Way You Do The Things You Do Under The Boardwalk (by The Drifters) Videos on YouTube are everywhere for those songs for choreography ideas but I can certainly send you links to each if that's easier. Please send letter of interest and resume for consideration. Serious and professional inquiries only. Thank you. - MGT
