Nikon FM 35mm film camera! This is a great option if you're looking for a classic, fully mechanical camera that still has metering. Doesn't look bad by any means but camera is definitely used. There is wear to the body, and while it works just fine to shoot with and likely will for a while, a CLA would really spruce it up. I will attempt to be overly detailed about the condition. Camera winds, fires, shutter speeds sound accurate, meter responds and lights up and is reasonably accurate, but does tend to want to underexpose a bit, which i'll touch on. Shutter and aperture show up in viewfinder. Viewfinder and mirror show some typical dust and marks with age but viewfinder is still easy to see what you're doing through. When i got the camera there was a good bit of gunk inside the ASA/ISO wheel. I cleaned most of it out. but it only turns up to 1600, not 3200. The camera meter seems to want to underexpose by a bit, which i'm 95% sure is tied to the ASA wheel being a little gunked up. From what i can tell it's not any issue with the actual meter or electronics, it seems like the wheel just isn't perfectly aligned with where it's supposed to tell the body where the ISO is. I feel like it's just offsetting things by a stop. To be clear the camera works fine for shooting, i would just set ISO to a stop lower than whatever film you're using. The little silver switch next to the viewfinder is apparently for multiple exposures, but it wont do anything as far as i can tell. Im not super familiar with it, so maybe it only works with the door shut and film in it? The camera winding and firing works fine, but once in a while the advance lever wont spring back all the way on it's own. Functionally, this doesn't really affect shooting, and it wont cause you to waste frames or ruin any shots or anything like that. It just seems to need help getting back to the normal position. I've fired this thing probably well over 300 times since i've had it and i'd say 90%+ of those it worked perfectly fine and snapped back fine and felt fine - it seems intermittent - sometimes it will go dozens of shots just fine and then will have some in a row that it needs help to spring back and i'm almost positive it's just old grease and such and a CLA would get it tip top, just thought i'd mention it. It seems like it gets better as the camera is used and warmed up a bit? but hard to tell. If you can live with that, it really is a solid, classic camera. Please see pictures for physical condition. small dent on top of camera, some minor marks and scratches on back and bottom. Inside is pretty clean and shutter looks good. I gave it a good clean and light seals have been replaced. $10 shipped within CONUS or local pickup in Atlanta. Thanks!
