This lens is special for having a hand-ground front aspherical element, similar to that of the 58mm Nikkor NOCT AIS's front element. Only 7,333 copies of this 28mm were made using this handcrafted method. - The optics, as well as the metal housing, are clean for a 30 year old lens, - The aperture ring is nice and clicky, and the blades are clean. - The OEM AM/AF clutch has been properly cared for and AF motor works perfectly!
