Awesome macro lens. This lens does have some use but is fully functional and takes excellent photos/video. Optically it's in great shape. Nothing that would impact the image quality. Some dust consistent with age, but no fungus, balsam seperation, fogging, etc. Decent amount of small marks and scuffs on the barrel. Filter threads are in good shape, so is the mount. Aperture blades are clean and smooth, which is actually somewhat lucky because these lenses can tend to leak oil onto the blades, but this one hasnt. Focus ring is smooth - a little on the loose side, but honestly so has every other 55mm 2.8 i've come across regardless of condition. Great lens for getting into macro photo/video. I also use this lens for the photos of my listings, as well as for 35mm film scanning! and it just makes an insanely sharp 50-ish mm lens for just general walking around - extremely versatile lens and legendary for it's sharpness and quality.
