I'm looking for an NYC-based percussionist for a new original chamber music-theater project combining live music, science, romance, and a slightly surreal story. The ensemble is piano, violin, saxophone, and percussion. The musicians also appear as characters in the story, with a few simple lines and stage movements. No acting experience required. I'm especially looking for someone who enjoys improvisation, creative musical interaction, and experimenting with sound. Hand percussion, compact drums, electronic percussion, pads/laptop setups — all welcome. Schedule: 2 online rehearsals, 1 in-person rehearsal in Midtown Manhattan, and 1 live performance, planned for October/November 2026. Exact dates will be coordinated with the performers.
